I enjoyed watching the video, and I liked this activity very much.
First of all, I think this activity helps language learning because the two web sources are written in English(target language, and students will use English while they read information about various parties, when they make a party plan, and also when they make a invitaion card for their own party and give feedback to other students' plan. I am sure that students will improve their language skill through each process of this interesting activity.
Also, this activity is very collaborative; it is based on pair work, and it also has a feedback session. While each student solves the task with his/her own partner, he or she discusses ideas and share various information on party. By giving feedback to other students' party plan, each pair can share other's party plan and interact with other students as well.
Finally, as for interest, this activity is very interesting. 'Planging a party' itself is an interesting topic, and it might be a fresh and new idea to the students. Also, making a invitation by using a 'video' might be exciting, too. I am sure that other students will like this activity just as I do.
